An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time qualified dispenser to join our enthusiastic and committed team.
We are looking to recruit a flexible, autonomous applicant with NVQ2/3 in dispensing, is computer literate, works well under pressure and is prepared to cover annual leave and sick absences at short notice. Experience with SystmOne is desirable but not essential. We offer a friendly and pleasant working environment and have excellent facilities.
Fern House Surgery is a large GMS practice with 8 partners and approximately 17,000 patients.
Responsibilities to include:
To ensure that all medicines and appliances dispensed are checked against the prescription.
To maintain full and accurate records of all dispensing transactions incorporating the use of computers when available and appropriate.
To operate efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the practice with the objective of ensuring continuity of supply for patients and minimising wastage through out of date stock.
