Thorpe-Le-Soken Surgery are a friendly and welcoming practice seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our healthcare team, and become part of a committed team in making a difference. This position is offered on a part-time basis for 22.5 hours a week, working between both our locations, Thorpe Surgery (dispensing practice) and our branch surgery in Kirby Cross.
You will be supported by a diverse, multi-skilled team of clinical and non-clinical staff, all working together to provide high-quality, person-centred, holistic nursing care to our patients. The ANP will assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate complex clinical presentations and provide leadership and expertise in clinical practice, supporting the wider multidisciplinary team.
As an experienced nurse prescriber, you will work within your professional boundaries and serve as the first point of contact for patients presenting with undifferentiated or undiagnosed problems. You will utilize your skills in history taking, physical examination, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making to establish a diagnosis and create a management plan. Collaboration with the multi-disciplinary practice team is essential to meet the needs of our patients.
About the Candidate:
All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:
Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Master’s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Advanced Practice qualification accredited by the RCN
Qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber
Meets NMC revalidation requirements
Complies with the standards for registered Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP) working at an advanced level
