We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly team in providing a high standard of service to our patients. Responding to the various needs of our patient population, with the ability to work under pressure, the post requires initiative, enthusiasm and empathy with patients.

You will need to be a team player, to have excellent communication skills, to be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and to be confident in dealing with a wide variety of tasks. You should also have experience of general practice, and knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous. The role includes handling telephone calls and digital enquiries from patients, care navigation, administrative duties, working collaboratively with a range of local services and with multi-disciplinary professionals.

We are a busy practice with an excellent reputation, a ‘Good’ CQC rating and a growing list size, located in purpose built premises in the centre of Canvey. We provide a very friendly, supportive and team-based working environment.

Hours – Mondays and Fridays 8am – 6.30pm, (20 in total) with flexibility to cover occasional extra shifts.
