The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Clinical Data Coordinator to join our small, friendly, and dedicated administration team. This is an exciting leadership role where you’ll be responsible for clinical data and population health systems, overseeing the smooth running of our Administrations Department and working closely with the Practice Management Team. Strong IT and communication skills, previous experience in collaborative working and team leadership are essential to this post.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Role
- To co-ordinate and provide audit services to the Practice.
- To monitor compliance with and performance of national and local QoF disease area targets, enhanced services and clinical research.
- To assist the management team in compiling and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual claims
- To develop, coordinate, implement and manage patient recall systems to ensure safe and proactive treatment of patients with the following Long-Term Conditions and services. Update disease registers, send invitations and reminders, review QoF points
- Creating, adapting, updating and implementing searches
Workflow Admin Role
- Undertaking administration workflow to ensure accuracy and continuity of clinical coding optimisation across the team
Management Support role
- Follow maintenance schedules for
- Liaise with University Hospitals to ensure smooth onboarding of GP registrar, Medical and Nursing Students
- Attending clinical and daily multidisciplinary meetings, engaging with relevant topics and minute taking
- Supporting practice engagement and contribution to clinical research
- Assist and support with practice payroll and finance needs
- Offering human resource support tracking and reporting staff mandatory learning requirements
- Providing IT knowledge to assist clinical research in identifying patients and doing call and recall processes.
Communication & Coordination
- Attend or ensure departmental representation at daily multidisciplinary meetings
- Co-ordinate with community and hospital services to resolve complex queries
Quality & Compliance
- Assist the to adhere to all Practice policies and CQC regulations using technology solutions where appropriate.
- Raise IT faults with appropriate support providers or Management Team members
- Work collaboratively with the Management Team as required

- Excellent organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of NHS systems and procedures
- Understanding of data safety, confidentiality, and compliance requirements
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with IT systems and practice management software
- An interest in AI and its current and future applications in Primary Care
