We are looking for an enthusiastic Practice Nurse who is a team player, to join our friendly, caring and innovative multidisciplinary team. We are a busy, effective and well-organised GMS practice with currently one GP Partner, regular locum GPs, we have streamlined processes, 6800 patients, an excellent reputation, and located in modern, purpose built premises in the centre of Canvey, with good transport links via the A13, A127 and M25. We have a ‘Good’ CQC rating and a high achievement for QOF.
You will be supported by our GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, ECPs, and our PCN, and we encourage a healthy work life balance. We provide a happy working environment and specialist interests and professional development will be supported. Knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous. We welcome new ideas and thrive on innovation.
We will support you in providing a high standard of patient care, and you will have excellent clinical skills in chronic disease management, childhood immunisations, vaccinations, cervical cytology, sexual health, contraception, wound care, health promotion, infection control.
Part time hours – days to be agreed and we can be flexible. Extra days available ad-hoc to cover holidays and sickness.
