Great Bentley Surgery is looking to recruit a part-time Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team, working approximately 26 hours per week. This post will require shifts to be covered all day on a Wednesday, a Thursday afternoon, all day on a Friday and a half day on a Saturday.
Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential, as well as the flexibility to help with cover for annual leave and sickness. The duties will include taking ECGs, dressings, injections, NHS health checks, diabetic checks and blood taking. Previous experience of working in primary care and knowledge of EMIS web would be desirable but not essential, as full training will be given.
