Colne Valley PCN is seeking a motivated and committed Advance Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team on a full-time basis. The role will be based at The Pump House Surgery in Earls Colne.
The successful candidate will be employed by the PCN and work within a supportive, forward-thinking practice environment. You will collaborate closely with experienced clinical teams and work under the supervision of GP Partners within your host surgery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute, minor, and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe and review medications in line with prescribing qualifications
- Undertake long-term condition reviews
- Conduct telephone and face-to-face consultations
- Processing Online Triage requests
- Carry out home visits where appropriate
- Deliver high standards of patient-centred care
- Work within professional boundaries and seek support when required
- Utilise your prescribing qualification and primary care experience effectively
About the Candidate
Essential (PCN DES 2026/27 Requirements):
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Qualification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or equivalent level practice
- Evidence of working at Level 7 (Master’s level) in Advanced Clinical Practice or working towards this
- Independent Prescriber qualification (V300)
- Demonstrable experience in primary care or general practice setting
- Ability to work autonomously while recognising scope of practice
- Evidence of continuing professional development aligned to advanced practice
Desirable (not essential):
- Specialist interest in women’s health and family planning
