Kingsway Surgery are a large practice of approx. 14,000 patients and we are looking for another ANP for 3 days a week, 8 hrs each day on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday to join our team of staff.
We work out of Crouch Vale Medical Centre in South Woodham Ferrers, we have 2 supportive GP Partners, 4 salaried GP’s, 2 ANP’s, 1 Nurse Prescriber, 1Prescribing Paramedic, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA and 1 Phlebotomist helping us care for our patients. We have a large administrative team to help support you in this role, consisting of 10 receptionists, 2 secretaries, 2 prescription clerks, 2 workflow and scanning clerks, an assistant practice manager and practice manager.
The role will include the following but is not limited to:
- Assessment, diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses
- Prescribing medication and completing referrals when required
- Requesting blood tests and following up results with patients
- Requesting X-rays and USS following up results with patients – MUST have IMER training for X-rays
- Working within the medicine management prescribing guidelines
- Completing QoF alerts as needed
We are Systmone surgery using Ardens templates and a total triage system. Experience is very important and we reserve the right to close the job advert earlier than stated should the right candidate be appointed.
