Asthma and COPD Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Asthma & COPD Nurse to join our supportive team at Blackwater Medical Centre, situated in the beautiful and historic town of Maldon, Essex, with excellent access to the A12.

We are a busy and well-organised practice serving around 13,000 patients, supported by a multidisciplinary team including:

• GPs
• Nurse Practitioners
• Practice Nurses
• Clinical Pharmacists
• Physician Associate
• Care Co-ordinator
• Social Prescriber

We also benefit from an on-site dispensary and a community pharmacy that is open 7 days a week, enabling us to provide streamlined care for our patients.

Role Responsibilities include:

• General nursing duties with a focus on asthma and COPD management
• Reviewing and managing patients with respiratory conditions in line with current guidelines
• Supporting QOF targets and helping the practice maintain high-quality outcomes
• Working collaboratively with GPs and the wider team to ensure excellent patient care
