Ambrose Avenue Group Practice is seeking to recruit a Clinical Pharmacy Technician to join our supportive clinical team in general practice. This position is available for both full-time and part-time work.

As a member of our established team, which includes pharmacists, technicians, and administrative staff, you will contribute to our medicine management program. This program involves conducting medication reviews for all our patients. In this role, you will receive support to complete the Primary Care Education Pathway through the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE).

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

To be eligible for this position, you must have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  •  A Diploma Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services and be a qualified and registered pharmacy technician.
  • Professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience as a qualified, registered pharmacy technician in primary care, community, or hospital pharmacy settings.
  • Proficiency in using electronic record systems and spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning through ongoing education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with a strong clinical knowledge base.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively multitask while managing frequent interruptions.
