An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join our diverse and multi-skilled professional team to provide high quality person-centred, holistic nursing care to patients.

The successful candidate will join a practice that takes pride in its ‘can do’ attitude and forward-thinking. You will work within what can be a busy, often demanding, but highly rewarding environment with an experienced and welcoming team.

Duties will include:

  • Wound care
  • Vaccinations (seasonal flu & pneumovax)
  • Injections in line with PSD and practice guidelines
  • ECGs / BPs
  • Phlebotomy
  • Health monitoring and management
  • NHS Health Checks
  • Assisting with minor surgery clinics
  • Experience with chronic disease management (qualified or willingness to undertake training).

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

This post is available for 37.5 hours per week, over five days (weekdays only). Part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate.
