The Role
Kingsway Surgery are looking for an organised, proactive, motivated and experienced assistant practice manager to work alongside out practice manager for 32 hrs a week worked over 4 days.
The role is varied and very rewarding supporting the day to day running of the practice, contributing towards our positive team work ethic. This role requires the successful applicant to step into the practice manager’s role during their absence from Kingsway Surgery as well as overseeing administrative processes such as read coding, recalls and carers lead. You will be expected to provide support with IT systems, data quality and reporting as well as supporting our lead receptionist with their staff rotas and gaps in staff cover as well as the wider admin team.
About You
You will take on the ordering for the admin side of the surgery and support the health and welfare of our staff and patients along side the practice manager.
This is a role that will grow with the successful applicant, looking to step up and take on the role of practice manager in the future.
About Us
We are located at the Crouch Vale Medical Centre in South Woodham Ferrers. Kingsway Surgery has approx. 14,000 pts and a large team of staff consisting of 2 GP Partners, 4 salaried GP’s, 3 ANP, 1NP, 3 practice nurses, 1 HCA, 1 Phlebotomist. We have 2 prescription clerks, 2 scanning clerks, 2 secretaries, 1 insurance admin assistant and 10 receptionist. We are a training practice, using a very successful triage system along side our clinical systmone, We work closely with the PCN who work out of our building and supply additional staff to assist Kingsway Surgery.
