We are looking for a reliable and organised Medical Secretary to join our team on a part time basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy GP surgery and supporting clinicians with the smooth running of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audio and copy typing of clinical correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
  • Supporting clinicians with administrative tasks
  • Liaising with hospitals, external agencies and patients
  • Assisting with appointment-related queries as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare secretarial role (preferably NHS)
  • Excellent typing and IT skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • A professional, friendly and courteous manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
