The Kelvedon & Feering Health Centre are seeking to recruit a part time Practice Nurse to work 30 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) at our growing practice in the village of Kelvedon & Feering. We are a busy practice and have a practice population of approximately 8,000 patients and a ‘GOOD’ CQC rating.
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience of Primary Care nursing and able to perform a range of procedures in vaccinations, immunisations, wound care, ECG, phlebotomy, INR. A knowledge of LTC management (Good Diabetes, Respiratory Conditions, Asthma/ COPD, hypertension) will be an advantage. Training will be given to improve and develop skills. You will be comfortable with IT.
We are looking for a practice nurse who will collaborate closely with a team of supportive and collaborative clinicians to ensure the greatest level of care delivered to all patients. To take the lead in Infection control and we use SystmOne.
