Chelmer Medical Practice is looking for a part-time or full-time, experienced Prescription Clerk to join our supportive and friendly prescribing team.
Chelmer Medical Partnership operates across three sites in Chelmsford – Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery, and Tennyson House Surgery.
The Prescription Clerk role supports patient care by acting as the essential link between our clinical team, local pharmacies, and patients. Working alongside a collaborative, non-clinical team, you will manage and process repeat medication requests.
Working days and hours are flexible and can be tailored to suit the successful applicant.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar prescription or healthcare administrative role, excellent IT proficiency and a warm, professional telephone manner, the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, and a willingness to cover extra hours to support the team during staff sickness or holiday periods.
Previous experience with the SystmOne clinical system is desirable.
