Chelmsford Private GPs is a growing independent practice based at Phoenix Hospital, Great Baddow, with a second Essex clinic opening soon.
We’re looking for the right people, not just to fill a rota. We’d like to meet GPs who share our commitment to personalised, evidence-based care, and then work out together how you fit in. That could be a few regular sessions alongside your NHS work or something more substantial. We can shape the work, hours and days around your skills and interests, and pay accordingly.
Every clinical session includes paid admin time. Clinics are generally 3 hours, with a maximum of 12 patients, plus 1 hour for admin. Most clinics are a mix of 15- and 30-minute appointments.

You’ll need full GMC registration as a GP, strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-centred approach. Private experience isn’t essential. Occasional Saturday mornings and some work outside the clinic may be involved.
