A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our forward-thinking practice for 6 sessions per week (Monday, Thursday, and Friday).
Chelmer Medical Partnership has six clinical partners and a large multidisciplinary team of clinicians who work together to provide a high standard of care to our patient population of circa 32,000 patients. We are a three-site practice based in Chelmsford – Humber Road Surgery, Melbourne House Surgery and Tennyson House Surgery. All three sites are approved for training and we host medical students from ARU, along with foundation trainees and GP registrars. GP appointments are 15 minutes long with 25 appointments per day.
Our training status helps to ensure we have a supportive environment for all clinicians. We have a daily half hour coffee break where the clinical team meet to discuss clinical cases and provide team support. We have a monthly practice first 5 meeting for all GPs who are within the first 5 years post-CCT to meet for peer support, alongside wider monthly clinical meetings and quarterly safeguarding meetings for the whole clinical team.
We use our PCN resources to provide a rich MDT to support GPs including GP assistants, visiting paramedic, first contact physiotherapists, clinical pharmacists, social prescribers and care coordinators. GPs work pro-rata in our duty triage hub, where we work as part of an efficient duty team using total triage via accuRx.
We have a culture of continuous improvement, with high QOF achievement and we have long term condition clinics where GPs can prioritise proactive care for our more complex patients.
We value staff wellbeing with regular practice wellbeing events and initiatives including visits to RHS Hyde Hall, a walking challenge and lifestyle talks for staff.
