Ambrose Avenue Group Practice is a friendly, innovative, and progressive GP surgery providing services to a diverse population in Colchester. We are a training practice serving over 14,500 patients across two sites: Ambrose Avenue and Tollgate.
We are looking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our supportive and caring practice for 4 to 8 sessions per week, negotiable.
Key Features of Our Practice:
- We use the SystmOne clinical system.
- Our clinical days run on time due to good patient access, with admin support provided by a GP Assistant.
- We are a low-visiting practice, as home visits are managed by our Nurse Practitioners.
- Medical defence top-up fees are included.
Primary Duties of the Job:
- Work as an autonomous practitioner, providing medical services to the practice population and delivering an excellent standard of clinical care while adhering to the GMS contract.
- Comply with the GMC standards for good medical practice and contribute to the effective management of the practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
