Due to popular demand. We will be offering evening sessions facilitated by Judy Downey on insulin therapy and how to initiate it.

This course will be delivered over two evenings.

There are three key learning objectives:

  2. To educate HCPs to help patients to understand why the use of insulin therapy will help them to manage their glycaemic control. To be able to make an informed choice in the selection of the insulin type and regimen. Selection of an injection device that is appropriate to the person’s needs.
  3. To educate HCPs to support the people during the initial stages of insulin use, advising on injection techniques, injection devices, blood glucose monitoring, hypoglycaemia awareness, informing the authorities, sharps disposal, sick day rules and other relevant topics.
