Sarah Lang is an Immunisation Nurse Specialist providing independent training in immunisation and travel health. Sarah has an MSc in Travel Medicine, an MA in Medical Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Sarah has worked in travel health/immunisation since 1999 in a range of settings. From 2007-2016 she ran an immunisation advice service for health care professionals on behalf of Public Health England/Oxford Vaccine Group in the Thames Valley area. In this role she also provided leadership in local design and implementation of immunisation programmes and led the educational support for immunisers. This comprehensive immunisation update aims to support Practice Nurses to reflect on immunisation practice and identify areas for development to support the delivery of high quality and safe immunisations.
