Facilitated by Darius Ferrigno

The online seminar will look at what is meant by performance management and how performance management links with capability processes.

The scope of performance management will be addressed, but the main focus of the seminar will be on how to introduce and address performance management problems and processes.

The ‘foundations’ of performance management will be considered, from job descriptions and role definition through to discipline and dismissal.

Delegates will be advised how to introduce appropriate performance standards and measures, and what those performance standards and measures should be.

Guidance will be given on what capability meetings should address, and the specific areas to be dealt with.  All delegates should leave with the ability to deal with any performance problems they are facing within their surgeries.

Due to the complexity of the material and the needs of the individual delegates, it may be necessary to vary the seminars, and we reserve the right to alter or amend the programme.

The relaxed style of this seminar will give all delegates considerable opportunity to discuss their own queries.

This seminar is highly interactive, and is delivered to delegates with a strong practical bias and a very focused approach.

The presenters on this programme hold appropriate legal qualifications.

This is a professional standards course, offering a practical and highly relevant approach to the law.

The course leader or leaders will employ a variety of techniques to make the seminar enjoyable and to ensure that concentration and interest are maintained throughout.
