Event Details

This training has been designed to incorporate the present situation of the COVID 19 pandemic.  Although it will be based on how to perform quality assured spirometry to the national standard it will also cover how to use other methods to determine airflow limitation during this time and how we can support patients.

The training has the additional information on how the use a FeNO machine to detect fractional exhaled nitric oxide, which can be included in the diagnosis of asthma according to  NICE guidelines (2020)

The training is for anyone who will be performing the test, Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Doctors or any other Allied Healthcare Professionals.

It is an accredited course and can be used to go on to complete the competency with the Association for Respiratory Technology and Physiology (ARTP) to be added to the National Register as recommended by NHS England.
